Sorry I have been so quiet lately. It's been kind of a busy couple months. Been getting things done for my Etsy and selling at conventions as well as a couple costumes that ate my soul.
The first was Lelouch from Code Geass. I've wanted to cosplay that series for an incredibly long time so I'm glad I finally got around to doing it. It was my first real adventure with satin stitching and made me hate doing it so very much LOL
Next up was adult Sakura from Tsubasa. This was made for the WCS. It involved gradient dying, silk, a technique known as Shibori dyeing, and all this very tiny trim that was a nightmare to attach. But its a fun costume to wear. Expect photos soon!
Finally, Fai's dragon costume. This was a complete remake from one I had done when I first started cosplaying. I like this new one a lot better.
Expect pictures from basically everything!
I did compete in the WCS and..although the experience itself was fun, the Katsucon staff was a nightmare. They messed up our lighting AND they failed in regards to getting our props on stage on time. It's a long rant that I'm not going to go into. But I still enjoyed myself and I loved wearing the costume. I've wanted to cosplay that version of Sakura since the moment I saw it in the manga.
Our crew also did the masquerade. We took home the "All my Feels" Judges award from Tess.

Yes a Tsubasa skit XD Hush.
Next up on the agenda is Triad Anime Convention and then Nashicon. Two smaller conventions but I will be selling in the dealer's rooms of both. After that is Animazement (also in the dealers room XD See a trend?). I will be competing at all three as well but am not revealing those details quite yet.
Hope to see you all at a future con!
